In the spring city of northern China, where ice and snow gleam together in harmony, we gather here in Changchun, Jilin, amidst this snow-draped season, to celebrate the grand opening of the 13th World Congress of Integrative Medicine. On behalf of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, I am delighted to offer my heartfelt welcome and deepest appreciation to all esteemed delegates, experts, and scholars hailing from across the globe, as well as to all friends who care for and support the cause of integrative medicine.
Throughout its previous editions, the Congress has persistently delved deeper into themes encompassing promoting achievements, upholding authenticity and fostering innovation, multidisciplinary integration, and inheriting and developing traditions. It aims to build a global health community and continuously promote the high-quality development of integrative medicine. As a uniquely characteristic medical system in China, integrative medicine has always been committed to integrating traditional wisdom with modern science and technology, injecting new vitality into the cause of human health. Against the backdrop of the continuous evolution and innovation of global medicine, integrative medicine has gradually formed a systematic theoretical framework and a rich array of clinical practice pathways. It demonstrates unique value in disease prevention and treatment, health promotion, and holistic care throughout the entire lifespan. It not only provides crucial support for the construction of a “Healthy China”, but also contributes Chinese wisdom to the diverse development of global medicine.
As an internationally branded academic conference organized by the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, the World Congress of Integrative Medicine has always been dedicated to promoting international exchanges and cooperation in the field of integrative medicine, as well as fostering the inheritance, innovation, and development of Chinese medicine. With the theme of “Digital and Intelligent Guidance: Integrative Medicine Safeguarding Health Across the Entire Lifespan,” this Congress features a plenary session and multiple specialized sessions. It aims to comprehensively showcase the latest research achievements in integrative medicine, delve into the application of cutting-edge technologies in multidisciplinary integration, promote the establishment and optimization of diagnostic and treatment norms for advantageous diseases, and further strengthen international cooperation in basic and clinical research, talent cultivation, and achievement transformation.
